Dr. Matthew Samuel Fine
A Miami native, Dr. Fine grew up in South Miami and graduated with honors from
Washington University in St. Louis. He attended the University of Miami Miller
School of Medicine and went on to perform his general surgery internship at
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL before completing urology residency
at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed his fellowship in male

He performs a wide variety of urologic surgeries but specializes in the lower urinary
tract management and reconstruction: from minimally invasive prostate/BPH
procedures to male and female urethroplasty to bladder reconstruction. He
performs incontinence surgery for men and women including artificial urinary
sphincter placement, mid-urethral sling placement, bladder botox injection and
sacral neuromodulation with Interstim.
Dr. Fine appreciates performing kidney stone treatments using ureteroscopy and
laser lithotripsy, shockwave lithotripsy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy but
prefers to focus on stone prevention with dietary management, behavioral
changes, and medications to limit the number of procedures his stone patients
require.
He performs in-office procedures such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, prostate
ultrasound, erectile dysfunction and biopsy, and genitourinary ultrasound.
Dr. Fine is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Society of
Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU), the
Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS) and the Society of Benign
Prostate Disease (SPBD).
When he is not treating patients or attending seminars, Dr. Fine enjoys music,
listening to anything from R&B to opera to alternative rock, and playing guitar. He
watches and plays a variety of sports: snowboarding, flag-football, basketball, and
cycling. He loves fantasy football, Miami Hurricanes football and the Miami Heat.
He enjoys cooking and eating foods from around the world. Dr. Fine speaks
Spanish and Italian and enjoys travelling around the world. He shares in these joys
with his wife, 2 children and their dog.

Amanda’s healthcare career started in 2013 at the University of Chicago as a Physician
Assistant. In this role she worked with one of the nation’s leading experts in the field of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. In 2017, Amanda leveraged the experience she had acquired at one of the top academic hospitals in the United States and accepted a Physician Assistant position in Urology with Cleveland Clinic Weston. For the past 5 years she has developed her clinical practice both assisting in complex urologic surgeries and while caring for patients in the hospital and outpatient settings.
During the summer of 2022, Amanda was excited to be presented with an opportunity to join Fine Urology in private practice. At Fine Urology Amanda will continue to dedicate herself to helping patients who suffer from stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urge incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She also works diligently to assist and find solutions for patients who are suffering from recurrent urinary tract infections and chronic bladder pain syndrome using the latest guidelines, therapies, and treatments to improve quality of life. Her unique, robust, and well-rounded urologic background is a tremendous asset to Fine Urology.
Her involvement in private practice also allows Amanda to enjoy a better work life balance than she was afforded in an academic or hospital setting. Amanda is the mother of two small children. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, beach volleyball, fishing, boating, and hosting social gatherings at her South Florida home.
